The place was very nice and we really enjoyed Penelope the neighborhood cat. Jackie was very responsive and helpful. The place is just what the app showed. However the garage wouldn’t lock.
The property worked well for our family and the host was responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the unit upon arrival was not what we expected for a stay of this price point. We found significant dust buildup, cobwebs, dirty vents, and a heavily soiled HVAC filter. We documented the issues immediately upon check-in and notified the host. The host offered a re-clean and waived the cleaning fee, which we appreciated. However, because we arrived late in the evening, we chose not to wait until the next day and instead spent part of our first night cleaning the unit ourselves so our family could comfortably enjoy the rest of our stay. Overall, the host handled the situation professionally, but the property’s cleanliness at check-in fell short of expectations.
